Welcome to the Little Book Of Beasts!

A collection of beasties, written by me and wonderfully illustrated by the wonderful work of Fernando Salvaterra ~! :D

Between the covers of this zine are two-score-and-ten monsters, critters, and constructs waiting to be dropped into your game. Some of them are ornery and ready for a scrap, but far from all of them— and even the ornery ones don’t necessarily need that scrap.

The beasts have been presented in a generic “rules-light” old school format, light on defining the parameters of broader abilities such as invisibility (sound, or no sound?) or snatching away dreams. If your chosen system allows for saves or tests against invasive or hostile effects, definitely apply them to beastly tricks unless there’s a specific note otherwise; nothing in this zine is meant to be a streamroller against players and their characters.

The PCs may even have the chance to again a strange new ally or two, though~

Enjoy!

I love a little bestiary and I adore Salvaterra's art, so I had to check this out, but I was seriously not prepared for what I found inside.

This truly is a gorgeous, genius, and simply phenomenal supplement absolutely packed with all manner of wonderful creatures and inspiring ideas!

Utter magic!
